American Insurance Agents Association (AIAA) ability to provide networking, information, and support on important insurance issues makes it a valuable organization to its members. The mission of the AIAA is to serve its members in areas of common interest, need or concern. In carrying out this mission, the Association shall ensure that the views and interests of its diverse membership and of the public are equitably addressed.


Based on its mission and operating philosophy, the strategic objectives of the Association are not only to build consensus among members on issues and concerns of importance to the industry, to foster sound and equitable principles in the conduct of the business of its members and to inform & educate members about domestic developments important to insurance industry but also to deliver maximum value for money to its members.

In addition, the AIAA has an expert Research and Statistics Department, and represents the insurance industry to external audiences through its Media, Political Affairs and other means. We are committed to being a progressive Insurance Association by collectively enhancing consumer understanding, promoting industry best practices, and through the association fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect with government and the insurance professionals. AIAA’s goal is also to be a forum of active exchange on matters relating to insurance and to promote, support and protect the common interest of member agents and member companies carrying on the business of insurance all across the country with fairness, transparency and knowledge as vital guiding principles to our mission.
